The Seven Principles Program

 

This program, based on The New York Times bestseller The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, was developed from Dr. Gottman’s four decades of research with more than 3,000 couples. In this workshop you and your partner will:

  • Learn how to make conflict work for your relationship
  • Deepen your friendship and the bond between you and your partner
  • Learn the distinction between solvable and perpetual problems
  • Discover how to overcome gridlock and accept your partner’s influence
  • Create shared meaning in your relationship, now and for the future

The Seven Principles Program is appropriate for couples who are:

  • contemplating marriage
  • engaged
  • newlyweds
  • or have been married for decades 

This program is not appropriate for couples who are:

  • experiencing severe emotional distress
  • involved in emotional or physical abuse
  • struggling with an active addiction to drugs or alcohol
  • dealing with untreated mental health concerns

 

This workshop is psychoeducational and is not group therapy or a substitute for receiving appropriate mental health care.
